Sitecore CMS Development

Our extensive experience with Sitecore has cultivated a proven process.

Our Methodology

Based on our successes we’ve built our own methodology for implementing large-scale, high-profile, and complex websites. The following phases are specific to the Sitecore process:

  • Content Object Definitions. Together, Velir and the client will create a detailed list of content objects to be created in Sitecore and featured on the new site. These represent items such as articles, news, document assets, and multimedia.
  • Page Level Specification. This is the blueprint for the front-end of the website, outlining all pages and page level components in detail. It will include the proposed inputs and behavior for the functional requirements.
  • Sitecore Layout Creation. HTML designs are converted to Sitecore layouts. Upon completion, static pages can be viewed via Sitecore.
  • Content Object Creation. Based on content object definitions list created previously, content objects are built in Sitecore. This is the most critical phase in the Sitecore build, as all code will be built on top of this structure.
  • Sub-Layout Creation. This is where it all comes together on the front-end. Custom functionality is built to interface with the Sitecore API, bringing all of the content managed within Sitecore to your visitors.
