Web Agency Receives Award for Developing The Brookings Institution's Website
Boston, MA, February 1, 2011 — Velir, a full service Web development agency, was awarded by Sitecore, a leading provider of .NET Web Content Management System (CMS) software, with a North American Sitecore Site of the Year Award – Best Mobile Site for the Brookings Institution.
Selected from several customers, the Brookings Institution, a nonprofit public policy and research organization based in Washington, DC, is being recognized for brookings.edu, which is truly optimized for mobile and cross-channel publishing and engagement. Velir, an authorized Sitecore partner, is being recognized for engineering the Sitecore solution. During this project Velir was challenged to support every major mobile platform via a comprehensive mobile optimized site and native applications.
