California HealthCare Foundation's iPhone Applications
Overview
Since taking over maintenance and development of California HealthCare Foundation’s iHealthBeat and California Healthline websites in early 2008, Velir and CHCF have partnered together to release the newest in cutting edge services. The latest in this line of achievements is the deployment of the iHealthBeat and California Healthline iPhone Applications, which are now available for download from the App Store.
The goal was to deliver CHCF branded content via an iPhone Application and to give users access to much of the same content as on the original websites. iPhone and iTouch users can view articles, images, and audio from California HealthLine and iHealthBeat. Embedded within these applications are the same advanced search functionality found on the websites.
