To give users instant access to this information, and eliminate the need to fulfill ad-hoc requests, Kaiser worked with Velir to build a unique Web-based solution called Kaiser Fast Facts.

The site includes an easy-to-use system for creating slideshows based on Kaiser’s vast collection of graphics and tables. Users view slides online and then use a shopping cart feature to download slides as individual PowerPoint or Excel tables, open slides as print-friendly pdf files, or combine slides to dynamically generate a slideshow that can be downloaded as a PowerPoint file or pdf.

With the site, Kaiser has empowered its users by giving them direct access to custom information. And it has strengthened its role as a trusted voice in the U.S. health system.
