Financial and Legal Professional Lisa Gorman Joins Velir as CFO
We’re excited to announce that Lisa Gorman, a financial professional, and lawyer with over 20 years of experience, has joined our team as Velir's Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Since starting her career as a certified public accountant (CPA) at the multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young, Lisa has worked in a variety of financial roles at nonprofits, tech startups, marketing agencies, internet of things (IoT) companies, and mission-driven organizations. She has extensive experience at large, small, public, and private companies including nine years at the international marketing agency Publicis Sapient.
Lisa has expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, financial management, human resources (HR) compliance, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She also attended law school and is a licensed lawyer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Most recently she made use of her wide-ranging capabilities as CFO at TrueMotion, a high-tech startup focused on making driving safer.
Given our recent rebrand, launch of new services, and partnership with Stella Point Capital, we’re excited about the leadership skills Lisa brings to Velir, and to the growth she’s uniquely positioned to help us achieve.
