CUNA Mutual Group Earns 2021 Sitecore Experience Honorable Mention
We’re pleased to announce that our client CUNA Mutual Group has received a Sitecore Experience Award (SEA) honorable mention in the Best Digital Experience Transformation category for our collaboration with them. Our work was selected from more than 140 submissions and recognized with an honorable mention for our entry “Building Customer-Focused Insurance Experiences for TruStage®.”
CUNA Mutual Group helps more than 3,500 credit unions and more than 21 million consumers build financial security with insurance and investment products and services available through TruStage® Insurance Agency, LLC. The organization partnered with us to establish a new digital experience for its TruStage® offerings.
Our primary challenge creating the new TruStage® experience was merging two separate websites’ functionality and interfaces to improve the customer experience. The new website we built disrupts the digital insurance experience by streamlining it in cutting-edge ways—customers can now research available TruStage® insurance, sign up for it, and manage their accounts all in a single place. It also offers unique insurance quoting and comparison based on a customer's budget, and handles guest payments and policy updates with dynamic, product-level personalization. Plus, all these robust features meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA Accessibility.
The new TruStage.com has transformed how consumers learn about life insurance, purchase it, and service it online. This is reflected in the site’s impressive growth—users were up 60% in 2020 (up 2M users to 5.3M in 2020). Financial results are exceeding $5M per quarter, and this unique, easy-to-understand digital framework has made customers feel so reassured in their insurance experiences, that it helped TruStage® achieve a 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot. The site also received a Communicator Award for Distinction in Financial Services Websites.
