For the fourth consecutive year in a row, Velir (www.velir.com) a full-service digital agency, has been ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the US. With a 3 year growth rate of 102%, seen through the addition of 85 people and the tripling of its revenue, Velir earned the 3286th spot on this year’s list.
The Inc. 5000 list represents the most comprehensive look at a critical segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500|5000.
2015 has been another stellar year of growth for Velir and under the leadership of new CEO, Dave Valliere, the company is on track to hit its revenue and other growth targets for the year. The continued expansion of Velir’s digital strategy and creative services, along with the formalization of its Drupal practice, have allowed it to make 27 new hires to date this year. Methodology
The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2014. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2011 is $100,000; the minimum for 2014 is $2 million.
